Dear blog, It's been waay too long since I last wrote something. Life has changed so much, so fast. There's so much I want to save through this blog.

I'll start with Charles's 21st party :D It was awesomeeee!

Theme: Movie Premier (hence all the movie posters etc) Complete with movie posters backdrop and red carpet at our photo booth, where we the guests could have their pictures taken. We also did little movie tickets for each of the guests. I'll just post pictures, you'll see!

Thats right. I've received a letter from TP, making graduation official. I think what I felt was a sense of pride. I MADE IT THROUGH POLY! I am actually quite excited for the ceremony in May. hahah

So no, I haven't landed myself a Job yet. I don't know if I'm being too picky or I just haven't found the right one for me. But i think desperation for $$$ is going to give me the push I need to settle down with a job. SIGHH BOORRRING.

Aside from that I've been super busy with lot of things. MAJOR PLANNING AND ORGANIZING. There's never ending stuff to do. As I deal with it, I learn. But still so much more. Bloody hell not easy. Just thought I need to remind myself how tough it was in the beginning, so in the future when I reap the benefits, and look back, it will be so much sweeter. I know you don't know what I'm talking about, but soon!

hihi! Everyone's birthday is so close together, its almost like one chalet a week. Happy birthday Weikang and Pengsiong! Just came back from PS's one at dkranji resort. The place's quite cool, a nice change from the usual chalets.

Aside from that, loads of big plans and bigger dreams. I really hope this will be the beginning of something huge. But time to work hard for now. Get some $$$ to start up everything.

I'm getting annoyed with people at home nagging at me to get a job. I'M LOOKING FOR ONE OKAY >:( Interviews are such a hassle... This week's pretty packed, so hopefully I would have something by the end of this week.

Anyway, thank you guys for supporting me! Especially my ex-colleagues from 19 blossom: Jeanette, Shirley and Vance for coming all the way down to TP for the design show! And of course Charles too (:

I'm kinda disappointed with the way the dip show was organized, and I'm sure everyone else is too. I mean... compared to other school's diploma show. I still remember during the first year at TP, I was walking around admiring the booths of the graduates and wondering how to make it as good as them. But oh well I'm really happy that its all over now. Time to move alongg

But I know it's going to suck so bad because working life... sucks. Well, can't get the best of both worlds can we? HI everyone, how is the good life? um okay.. not so good for some because of external examination coming up this week. Best of luck to you guys, Only one last hurdle to get though and its bye FYP forever! Last wednesday was internal examinations for me, I came prepared with 3 slips of crap paper for a presentation and faced a panel of 7 lecturers. Got spotlight somemore. Literally, with the big shining light on you and your booth while you scramble to find the words to impress 7 grown men sitting down on chairs in a straight line. HAHAH it was quite a sight! Oh well, I couldn't answer some of the questions thrown at me and that.. sucked. BUT whatver I'm done with presentations.

FYP IS OVER. I AM DONE. DONE DONE DONE! I think this feels like the end of O'levels just 4 years ago. This is too fast. I'm about to graduate!

I'm not very proud of my work. These past 3 to 4 months was hell trying to complete it. And Submission day - friday the 19th was way more unlucky then friday the 13th. It was comeplete chaos. Eveyone was running about putting up their display, I forgot one of my display boards, went to reprint at the school printer but it was under repair and took 1 hour to fix. SO SWAY. But Thankyou God for helping me make it in time.

Well, there's still internal and external examinations which means more presntations but what the heck I AM JUST SO HAPPY SUBMISSION ITS OVER.

Printing on was shit and burnt quite a big hole in my pocket. Haha saw plenty of my coursemates doing last minute printing also. Just one day before deadline. Charles was sweet to accompany me all the way there. He sat up with me the past few nights watching DVDS while I chionged though each deliverable. I have him and my friends to thank for getting me though this.

I celebrated with charles after submission with a sushi buffet to thank him for supporting me through my FYP. I dont think i could have done it without you(:

I took a 5 hour nap just now, and with fyp over, i don't quite know what to do. Haha I've watched 2 DVDs in a row. AND IT FEELS GREAT! No guilt (:

Am so full now, i think i over ate because we went to have a good dinner buffet at changi V hotel cos mum's birthday's on fridaaay! Deelish! Haven't had good food like that in a long time. yea its two days early, but friday is a public holiday so mum says save money and eat today. Right now mum is playing bejeweled blitz on facebook like nobody's business and I need to beat her high score. hahha i love my mum

Lets see.. watched 2010, which was excellent! .. Spent alot of time online (shopping).. Played PLENTY of Left 4 dead 2 over the last couple of days! AND OMG IT WAS DAMN FUN, SO WORTH THE TIME + $$ SPENT OK! If L4D was good, L4D2 is even better. hahah and charles and I have been playing poker on facebook alot too. Then while he was sleeping last night he suddenly shouted some gibberish exclaimed "ALL IN ALL IN!!" Then went back to sleep. Scared the hell out of me at first then I started laughing so hard I woke him up hahhaaah. FYI, Charles doesn't sleep talk, he sleep shouts.

well Consult's tomorrow, and I don't have much to show again. I don't know how come time flies by so quickly these few weeks. I know I'll have to pay dearly for being so behind schedule. Today was critique one for the first group, I'm up tomorrow with the second group. I don't know if I'm nervous, cos we've all been thought plenty of presentations before. I'm just hoping I don't screw up big time and my mind does that thing when I'm nervous; It goes blank when the lecturers start shooting questions.

I'm having my daily coffee from my awesome coffee maker at home + A Delifrance puff. And trying to work on my FYP before heading off to school (: life is good!

Went over to Charles's place yesterday evening to do some work while he studied. But it turned out exactly like when we were cramming for O's. hahah Very distracting. Then i tried to cook, but failed and needed the help of mighty chef charles. And since Charles sold off his bike, he insisted on sending me home the old fashioned way... by bicycle. Save the environment, Go green!

I am excited. Gonna watch coraline in 3d later! IN 3D! never watch in 3d before k. Anw I'm burning all my A1 CDs from a million years ago into my itunes now! I don't care how lame that sounds but I still love A1. heh. I feel so old, now fast approaching my last teenage years. AND 13 year olds have never heard of a1. wtf, different era already.

What a lazy weekend. Eat nap eat play eat (Buffalo wings at Jerry's! WHOOHOO) sleep. Wake up, repeat. Okay, So I've been thinking alot about FYP.. and with charles' help, thought of a few, while lazing around in the pool hoping to get inspiration from the sky. But still not concrete.

I really pray that I'll think of something better. Good enough to face a panel of lecturers on wednesday. -shudder- My shoulders now very heavy.

It's been one week back at school and I'm having a lot of fun, aside from the fact that I have no idea what to do for my Final year project. Been thinking long and hard, but to no avail. sigh.

Okay I'm supposed to be rushing my SIP report for submission later today, but I'm really just procrastinating, so here I am blogging, but too lazy to edit pictures, so too bad la huh.

I'm so happy & proud of my chaarlzee for a job well done (: Jia came down with me on the first day to visit and make him nervous hahha.

TGIF! Its my last day here at 19 blossom! Everyone's facebook status is like "LAST DAY OF WORK" hahha including mine. mmm I'm drinking my hot tea (other days its kopi) that Shirley bought from the kopitiam across the street and eating chicken pie for breakfast. :D I have learnt so much here, its been a great experience. Working life is TOUGH!

Plenty of things to do before leaving today. On top of that, I still have to churn out a report based on this internship thats worth like, 40 precent of the grade. Dont they ever let us rest!

And now final year project is upon us. This is my timetable!

Class from 3 to 5. WHEEE! Thank god. At least I wont oversleep and miss class.

I think I'm going to miss working here. but i am very excited for charles this weekend but more about that later! hahah its time to celebrate now! (okay celebrate after I knock off at 7)

WELL the long weekend's over ): This is my notebook which has all my projects notes and whatnots. See all the dates! now I can finally write 22nd september! which means, there's only one more month of internship left. I'm sure it'll fly by.

I keep forgetting to update my blog. and when the week starts again I have no more time. Haha I'm learning quite a bit here, And I've made a few careless mistakes here and there. Makes me feel like shit every time. But I there's no time to wallow in regret but only to fix it quickly.

and whoops I havent been writing the reflections portion in the SIP log book. No idea what to write leh. So scrwed.

Watched the ugly truth and inglorious bastards over the long weekend! I love public holidays but I love school holidays even more. Which I no longer have because of internship. sucks not having a break to look forward to. But I cant wait to see all my classmates back in school again!

I have a nice little collection of design books for reference everyday! So you can see what I've been working on now..

I've gotten used to getting up everyday and going to work, its really nice, and its the 5th week already. Now that I think about it, its quite fast. I want to enjoy my remaining 7 weeks! Met up with dear grace and classmates yesterday tooo. plus called JY out during lunch break to go eat together, and did some shopping! All within one hour. haha

Charles bought me SIMS3 a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it. But only no time to play ):

I miss just having a quiet lunch with my baby. This was again, a couple of weeks ago. It's something we'll do every other day when I was back in school. Really miss spending time with him. ): I have been neglecting, want to let you know that I still love you very much even when I'm so busy.

I'm home early today! So I thought i'd blog or this blog is remain dead throughout my SIP. Work has taken up most, if not all, of my time. But its really a good experience and I'm learning to enjoy my work more each day. The only thing I dont like about working is having to miss out on my friends. (rubberduckies and gf, I miss you!) Everyone is going fishing tonight without me because they are staying there till morning. Bummer, but I bumped into robin on the way home! hahah not very hard to spot him waving like crazy.

Anyway, about.. 3 weeks back, we went to JB for a short holiday!

We didn't do anything much except eat, sleep, swim, and eat. SUPER RELAXED. Not exaggerating here. And Charles and I celebrated our 4th year anni there too(:

Hi all! Its the fouth week at work! I like it here. Thats almost a month now, which would mean your pay is coming in soon! and its 11.20. I planned to sleep at 10.30 because I'm always so sleepy during work, BUTT there's so much to do and really so little time. The day passes by so quickly (except after lunch time till the end of work) that I'm really having trouble keeping up with my life. And everyone in it. I'm so sorry if I haven't been able to meet up with you guys.

Work has been pretty alright, loads of projects to do and my bosses and colleagues are quite fun. So far I haven't made coffee for my bosses but I've gone down to the 7 eleven to buy beer for them -.- hahha. There are alot of times where I know I'm not doing well enough, but I'm learning on the job. There are really so many more stuff I don't know.

Anw today pekgek came to visit me at work, quite sudden cos she only called in the morning. So in the middle of the busy day she popped by and took a look at the log book and actually wrote comments, which I thought was really nice of her. She wrote plenty of encouraging stuff, like 'keep going!', "you're in the right place, work hard!" hahh and she said something that really got me stunned for awhile.

she said, "your training days, and your classes in school, AS YOU KNOW IT, are over."

She made me realise that, really, the classroom days are over. period. No more lectures and lessons, ever. I think that's so scary. And she asked me to think about what I could do for my FYP... which would begin immediately after SIP. . and i have absolutely no idea.

oh and she also said there would be no more holidays. bummer. I miss school, I miss my friends. I miss having all the free time that I wasted away the past three years.. and I miss charles. Sigh. I can't wait for weekends.

Hello world! I owe this blog a lot of updates but I don't seem to have the time or the energy everyday. I'm still annoyingly sick, and have most likely infected my colleagues. Internship has been very exhausting but fun. The journey to work already drains me. I HATE THE MRT >:(

On the bright side, Everyone here is nice and friendly. This is my street of chinatown hahahah. On a nice morning.

I get home so late at the end of each day. The first few days was quite bad, but I think I'm getting used working long hours ):

Met up with all my working classmates on wednesday for dinner! What a nice midweek break(: Everybody had so much to say and complain, esp robin! hahah. We had yummy famous claypot rice. It was humongous. mmm its a good thing all the food around here is so cheap. We should make this a weekly thing. !

ahh by the time I went home it was like close to midnight. I wish traveling home doesn't take so long. Time is precious.

Aside from this, I'm having an extremely crappy day. I probably failed APEL. Email listed me as an absentee. ahh I don't like school. Don't know what's wrong with me these days. Everything seems to go so very wrong. I feel like a complete incompetent imbecile.

Friday with dear RBDs was awesome(:

Went to ChompChomp for dinner (again!) We need to eat somewhere new ok! Yying, Jia, Grace and Jean. I always have alot of fun and with my girls. And our much missed meaningful late night talks. Hung out till late, then charles and dominic joined us. Spent most of it after laughing at Charles and his usual stupid antics. Love you girls plenty, and you know you can call me anytime you need to(:

My Mac is sick ): I can hear strange beeping sounds instead of the usual crisp musical chimes when it starts up. PLEASE DON'T CRASH ON ME. I promise I'll bring you for a checkup real soon. Sigh, I see more money going down the drain. I am so broke I could cry.

Today was not a good day. I overslept for APEL. Woke charles up and he sent me to school so I walked into class 2 hours late. Everyone applauded -.- Thanks ah guys, seriously.

Then Charles killed and cooked two monster crabs for our lunch. I felt so bad, really. Haha poor creatures. And poor charles for slaving over the stove to cook. Thanks hon(:

Just a little update, I DID LASIK SURGERY!

*super long image heavy post, I want to upload everything and not let the picture taking go to waste.! ANDD, happy belated birthdays to Dan, Cally and Tessa!

Thought I'd share a cool ad from the clinic! hehe I can see about, 70% perfectly now.

If you guys don't know what Lasik is, Its a type of refractive eye surgery for correcting myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. (okok, so I had to WIKI that info).

I went to the The Lasik Surgery Clinic, you can click on the link cos I know some of you want to get it done too. Its at paragon and the staff there are really friendly and they made sure everything was alright for me.

I was positively shaking, cos the procedure was so scary. Was a whole day thing, did so many eye checkups on the morning, then finally went through with it around 4. The whole surgery lasted only about 15 mins though. No pain, because of the numbing eye drops, but it was extremely extremely uncomfortable.

okay I'm posting this picture of my eye because Cally wants me to. SO DONT GET GROSSED OUT. IT DOEN'T HURT. It's basically the same thing like a bruise on your arm. I have it on both eyes.

err yeah so there you go. Took a cab straight home, popped a sleeping pill (provided by the clinic) and slept till the next morning. Now I have a whole bunch of eyedrops. I have ten boxes, supp to put every hour for the first month.

Its the holidays! Been busy the last few days and stuff. Enjoying my well earned two weeks.

Ad Cam final presentation was stressful in the morning cos we were rushing and so unprepared. But we managed to pull it off! Thank you amanda and phyllicia! WE DID IT :D

That aside, Sunday was TRUDY'S WEDDING(:

Started off way early in the morning with the gate crashing by the groom & company, but I wasn't there): haha damn funny tho.

Tea ceremony. They had photographers and videographers too.

Then they left and soon we headed over to Fort canning around 3 plus with all our evening stuff. This was the room we were all getting ready in. very very cooool. Trudy was so busy getting everything in place.

We got our hair and makeup done!

heh then Cally and I went out and about to check out the place. and take a few photos of course! The decor and everyhing was looking so goood.

Baby's back(: Went for a drink at Crosswaters by the beach. Listened to him talk about camp stayed there for quite awhile. There was a live band playing today so it was really romantic.

Tonight was a nice night.

Charles's Martini & a long island for me. yumyum.

Went back home and he went to lie down and within a minute he was snoring. hahahah poor thing.

So in a nutshell, went to the Lasalle grad show on friday, (loads of good stuff) Met up with grace on sat & popped by to visit charles at church & spent today afternoon with phy and amanda to do Ad cam. I hope our filming goes well on tuesday and we don't get chased out.

I spent today twiddling my thumbs and twisting my hair waiting for their reply, hate waiting.. to be rejected or accepted. Its a very anxious feeling. But everything's OK now! So Yesterday's interview must have gone well. The art directors are nice, the girl who called me today was nice, and the place was nice. In a quaint little shop house thingy where you have to go up a narrow wooden staircase. ahh i'm so blessed(: Thank you God, I could have never done it without you.

So Charles and i just went to celebrate at Buddy hoegies! Damn full and happy now :D

Everyone's talking about Internship and companies and interview. The lecturers are stressing us about deadlines to secure a company, and I haven't even made my portfolio look pretty. It is really not industry standard. There's no point in rushing to fill it up now when there's no time, but I am trying.

There's so many things to do and I have done nothing great. I'm not ready for this, but its like I'm being thrown out there already.

Started with the usuals ambushing Charles at midnight, on level 2 with spray cans and poppers. Haha liaising with me, they camped at level 2 and while we were going down, the lift door opened He got such a shock, he started at them for 2 seconds and they stared back stunned too, hahah and they attackeddd. I think raphael was the one who put the box on charles's head hahaha.

But it was very unexpected. We thought we couldn't sell off the bike. Posted the sale on the bike forum for three days. And on Sunday, the first person that came to view bought it on the spot. then they did the transfer the very next day. So fast la. I thought it would have taken us weeks.
